1. The tactic: Reddit is a Google play now. reddit.com fell from 3.8% to 0.5% of ChatGPT citations; it is in 18.6% of AI Overviews. Steps: search "[your category] reddit", check which threads the AI Overview cites, reply as yourself with who it suits and the price, ask two customers to add their take, re-check in 3 to 4 weeks. 2. The number: 0.4%, the citation lift from llms.txt across 212 sites over 60 days.
3. Share of Prompt: Rise Books went from 7% to 21% on "best bookkeeping app for a small bakery" after publishing a pricing page with prices on it.
4. Quick hits: Perplexity shows prices inline for software questions. Gemini cites YouTube descriptions more often. AI Overviews pull local answers from city subreddits.
5. Do this week: reply to the two most recent Reddit threads Google cites for your category. About 60 minutes.
